SAT250 x86 Hardware Compatibility List (HCL)
Below are our working spec for hardware in order to use SAT250 software

1. Compaq Deskpro Workstation AP250. (Very hard to find these days)
Processor
1. Intel Pentium(R) III 1000MHz
Fast Ethernet Network card
1. Intel Pro100/B Fast Ethernet
Token Ring Card
1. 3Com TokenLink Velocity ISA 16/4 3C319 (must disable PnP ISA)
Operating System
1. Sun Solaris x86 7 11/99
SAT250 Manually Backup Procedure
1. ftp to SAT250 console using your favorite ftp tools. set transfer mode to binary.
2. export all CAE 250 configuration to ../cae/xfer using
sat250 command “k cae dbexport”
3. now copy all content in ../project folders to your PC.
4. burn copied files to CD.
Manually Uninstall SAT 250 Software
SAT250 manual does not mention on how to uninstall their s/ware. we found a way to uninstall with the following step:
1. kill the processes related to oracle and SAT250.
2. delete 4 userids related to SAT250 software as follows:
i. login as root & issue the following command “userdel oracle sat250 shutdown”
ii. delete the folders related to SAT250 software:
a. rm -rf /home/oracle
b. rm -rf /home/sat250
c. rm -rf /home/shutdown
d. rm -rf /home/sat250list
iii. restart your server
